Customize What Apps Have Access To

When you first download an app and open it up, it will ask you permission to access a variety of things on your iPhone, like your location, contacts, etc. It's always a good idea to see what permissions each app has and adjust this accordingly.

You can do this by going into Settings > Privacy. You'll see a list of different things like Contacts, Calendars, Reminders, etc.

For example, tapping on Contacts will give me a list of apps that have the ability to access my contacts, with the ones turned on having full access with my permission. Simply go through the list and enable or disable apps to your choosing.
