The Walmart Black Friday 2015 deals start in a little over a month and you don’t have to wait for any official announcements to get a good idea about what you can expect from one of the biggest Black Friday 2015 retailers this year.
The signs are good that Walmart Black Friday deals will include Guaranteed In Stock offers that made the store a popular Black Friday and Thanksgiving Day destination last year that allows users to make sure they get the biggest Black Friday 2015 deals without waiting in line all night and going home empty-handed.
Thanksgiving Day and Black Friday 2015 sales are among the biggest events of the holiday shopping season at Walmart. Here is an early look at what you can expect from the Walmart Black Friday 2015 deals.
Although Walmart sells pretty much everything you could want, this will focus on big-ticket electronics, gadgets, video games and other items that will serve as Walmart Black Friday doorbusters for 2015.
Walmart Black Friday 2015 Deals and Hours
Walmart already promises that Black Friday 2015 is, “the perfect time to get a jump-start on your holiday shopping.” Although the Walmart Black Friday ad 2015 release is still coming, the retailer tells users to, “Keep your eyes peeled,” and to sign up for an email alert with early access to the 2015 Walmart Black Friday ads.
While some retailers are drawing back and no longer opening on Thanksgiving this year, it is very likely that the Walmart Black Friday 2015 hours will start on Thursday and roll the savings over into Friday and on through the weekend.
Last year Walmart explained that there is a different type of shopper who goes to Walmart on Thanksgiving Day, compared to on Black Friday proper. Walmart President and CEO Greg Foran told reporters in late 2014, “It’s absolutely appropriate that we open at 6 p.m.” referring to Thanksgiving Day hours.
Even without any formal announcement yet, we expect the Walmart Black Friday 2015 hours will start on Thanksgiving Day at 6 PM local time and then for Black Friday 2015 sales to start at 8 AM on Friday with a new set of deals. Walmart typically offers a collection of deals that start at different times, allowing shoppers to line up for multiple events and items.
Here is a closer look at what shoppers should expect from the Walmart Black Friday 2015 deals.
Walmart Black Friday 2015 1-Hour Guaranteed In Stock
During the last three Black Fridays at Walmart the company offered a 1-Hour Guaranteed In Stock sale that helped remove some of the anxiety out of waiting in line for Black Friday doorbusters.
With the small changes from year to year improving the service in the minds of consumers it is a good bet that we will see Walmart Black Friday 2015 1-Hour Guaranteed In Stock deals on HDTVs, an iPad, a Xbox One or PS4, laptops and other items.
These deals guarantee that if you are in line to get a wrist band for the item by the time the sale starts, on Thanksgiving Day or on Black Friday, you will get the item you want that day. If Walmart runs out they will ship you the item before Christmas at the Black Friday Price.
We expect the Walmart Black Friday 2015 deals to start at 6 PM on Thanksgiving Day. These will traditionally run between 6-7PM on Thanksgiving Day. If you are in line and get a wristband during this time period you will get your item that day, or by Christmas.
Plan to wait in one line for one item and if you need multiple of the same item to bring friends. If you finish in one line before the hour is up you can go to another line.
Walmart Black Friday 2015 HDTV Deals
Black Friday HDTV deals are one of the things that many shoppers flock to each year with big screens at low prices, and Walmart Black Friday 2015 deals will likely include at least one big HDTV doorbuster deal and many others.
Last year we saw a 50-inch HDTV for for $218 and a 65-inch Vizio HDTV for $648 at Walmart for the 1 Hour In Stock Guarantee sale and many others on the regular ad.
Dealnews predicts that the best value for 2015 Black Friday HDTV deals are on 60-inch TVs that will range from $549 to $775 for off brand to name brand models. It wouldn’t be surprising to see Walmart offer a 50-inch and a 60 or o 65-inch HDTV as part of the Thanksgiving Day 1 Hour In Stock Guarantee deals.
Perhaps the most tempting Black Friday 4K TV deal will arrive at Walmart as part of the doorbusters. Dealnews predicts that we will see a 55-inch 4K HDTV from Samsung, Vizio or Changhong for $425 at some retailer this fall.
Walmart Black Friday 2015 Xbox One & PS4 Deals
If you are waiting for the Walmart Black Friday 2015 deals to get a PS4 or Xbox One, you may not get much satisfaction. The PS4 price drop just cut the console to $349 and the Xbox One is also $349. Both of these include bundles that pack in one or more games. That said, we do think Walmart will sweeten the deal with added games, controllers or $50 off.
Count on a PS4 or Xbox One bundle as part of any One Hour In Stock items at Walmart that will drop the price of the PS4 or Xbox One to $300. We’ve already seen the PS4 drop to $300 after a gift card this fall.
We expect big savings on recent games during Walmart Black Friday 2015 events.
- Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 PS4 & Xbox One – $49.99
- Fallout 4 – $49.99
- NBA 2K 16 – $35
- FIFA 16 -$35
- Madden 16 -$35
- Many games for $25
- Older Games at $20 and $15
We may also see Amiibo and Disney Infinity 3.0 deals on Black Friday at Walmart.
Walmart Black Friday 2015 iPhone & iPad Deals
Last year we saw the original iPad mini for $199 and a $30 gift card and this year we will likely see the iPad mini 2 for $199 on a 1 Hour In Stock deal, with the chance of up to $100 off the newer iPad mini 4 at one of the later events, but not guaranteed in stock for the hour.
With all discounts factored in it wouldn’t be a shock to see Walmart offer the iPad Air 2 for $300. Last year the iPad Air was $399 plus a $100 gift card and the iPad Air 2 is now at that same age.
iPhone 6s Black Friday deals could drop the price of the newest iPhone by almost $100 on a contract with an up front discount and a gift card. The iPhone 6 Black Friday deals at Walmart could drop the price to almost $0 after a gift card and discount if the retailer sticks with offers from previous years.
One major change is that many carriers are pushing away from contracts. Walmart already offers $100 off a payment plan on Verizon or AT&T for the iPhone 6s or iPhone 6 through the end of the year, so there may be an even bigger deal to come.
Walmart Black Friday 2015 Laptop Deals
Walmart Black Friday 2015 laptop deals are sure to attract attention, but keep in mind there are already a lot of good Windows laptops below $300 that run Windows 10.
If Walmart follows with a similar deal to last year expect a budget laptop for $250 on the doorbusters and other options in the Walmart Black Friday 2015 ad.
Keep in mind that many Black Friday notebooks are not great deals and the same goes for off brand tablets under $50 on Black Friday.
