X-Bow & Tesla Downgrade (Nerfed)

The term if nerfed, which is a way to describe a troop or attack unit getting lowered in order to balance out the game. The main goal of this update is to upgrade, downgrade, or change troops or cards to offer the most balanced and exciting version of Clash Royale, to make more players happy. Based on stats, win ratios, and usage on a per card (troop) basis, Supercell has made some important changes to improv the game.

The X-Bow and Tesla will both be getting nerfed a little bit in this update. Meaning they won't be as powerful, or reach as far. The X-Bow reach will go from 13 tiles down to 12. This is small, but it will be just enough that it will no longer reach towers on the other side. Meaning an opponent can't just drop it near the edge, and let the X-Bow slowly kill and take out an entire tower. Instead it will be a defensive unit, and players will need to take down at least one tower before they can drop an X-Bow in range to actually hit towers. This makes more sense, as X-Bows were silly overpowered. This also means it can't be dropped behind a Tesla and still hit enemy troops, which was a very solid defensive strategy.

Speaking of the Tesla, it will not fire every 0.8 seconds instead of .7 to be slightly slower, and its lifespan is now only 40 seconds rather than 60 seconds. This will make it less of a dominating defensive troop, and more vulnerable to Minions or Skeleton armies.

The entire point of this update isn't just to balance out cards or troops that are over-powered, but to put more emphasis on offense rather than defense. Supercell wants exciting battles full of attacks, not players sitting back on defense waiting for a moment to drop in a Prince or PEKKA to wreck shop.
