Archers are a great card that many beginners use, but after Arena 3 or so the card is completely ignored and hardly any players are using these ladies. The problem is the Archers are too slow, and aren't nearly as damaging or good on defense as the Spear Goblins. Supercell is making the Archers faster to start shooting and quicker overall, in order to be more useful, effective, and responsive to defending when we need them to. | |||||||||||

I think decreasing the X-bow range to 12 from 13 is not to shut it down. It can still attack the opponents tower from your side, but you have to put it right on the edge with no room for Tesla in front. They are just making it more open to counter play which is nice because it is really hard to kill an X-bow with a Tesla Tower in front of it.
