With Madden 16 we saw a huge emphasis on passing and pass defense. Those upgrades are staying, and now we get a huge emphasis on the run game and run defense. In addition to big changes to the ground game, there are now changes in place to help prevent Madden 17 money plays from allowing an opponent to run all over you.
What’s New in Madden 17
The Madden 17 player ratings matter more than before, so you will see a change in how your players respond to commands to perform a special move. There are also new tackle dynamics that will allow you to break a gang tackle and go for a touchdown.

The Madden 17 release date is August 23rd on Xbox One, PS4, PS3 and Xbox 360. There is an option to play Madden 17 early on Xbox One with EA Access. The game is $59.99 for the base version, but special editions are available for $79.99 and $99.99.
