We’ve already detailed some of the best Galaxy S7 Edge cases, not to mention official accessories right from Samsung, but select users want cases with a more specific feature. Battery life. These days users can protect their phone with a case, and double or triple battery life at the same time.

Like the old Galaxy S6, the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge don’t have a removable battery. However, Samsung add a massive 3,600 mAh battery to the S7 Edge, and an efficient 3,000 mAh battery to the smaller Galaxy S7. That said, the cases below will give you even more juice.
The impressive S7 and Edge are packed full of features. The screen is big, bright and better than ever. It’s powerful with 4GB of RAM and takes a micro-SD card full of apps, games or movies. Not to mention the fast 12 Dual Pixel camera takes amazing photos and video.
These are two of the most powerful smartphones on the market, but you can only do so much when the battery is low. We gave the phone raving remarks in our GottaBeMobile review, including battery life, but it can always be better. Right?
Now that these phones have been available nearly a year accessories are everywhere. Not to mention Samsung made its own excellent battery case for the Galaxy S7, erasing the need for many 3rd party manufacturers to do so. Of course big brands like Mophie still delivered. Check out our slideshow below and choose a case that protects your Galaxy S7 or S7 Edge and gives it more battery life at the same time.

Sorry but the Samsung case offers no protection. First drop from pocket level and screen cracked in two (!) corners. Don’t waste your money.

I am typically a ZeroLemon woman; have been since my first S series zmart phone, the S2.
I would buy 2 extended life batteries and a wall charger for charging out of my phone. I always had a full battery to use in the morning by simply switching out the battery inside and putting the fully charged battery in. I did this when I purchased the S3 as well.
Fast forward to March of 2016. I purchased a S7 though my exact concern was that the battery wasn’t removable….I forged ahead and bought the S7 rubberized case battery pack.
The first battery almost blew in less than 6 months. The battery was expanding and making the rubberized shell BOW OUT. It was only a matter of time before it exploded and I might end up with acid all over my S7. So, I told tech support and customer service at ZeroLemon and they immediately replaced it.
Problem is now that pack is doing the SAME EXACT thing. ZeroLemon IS replacing it again for free but, I am not sure I should bother. Before this stuff happened I was semi committed to being a life long ZeroLemon woman but they don’t know why it is happening but I highly suspect I am not the only customer this has happened to.
I bet the massively large overkill on the battery size and it heating up when it is charging is why this happens. Too large of a life span or too high of a battery size HAS to be what is doing it.
I am VERY concerned about durability though…rubberized, and shock absorbing is important to me.
Are any of these recommended models less prone to malfunctions like this and ALSO happen to be highly durable and keep the phone safe from damaging????
Very interested to know what you would recommend to replace a ZeroLemon. Thank you!!
