iOS 10 Lock Screen & Raise to Wake

The new iOS 10 lock screen looks nicer than iOS 9 with a semi-transparent look that allows you to see your lock screen wallpaper, but still ready and respond to your notifications.

One of the best parts of the new iOS 10 lock screen is the raise to wake option. On iOS 9 when you press the home button to turn the screen on Touch ID is too fast and you miss your notifications.

With iOS 10 when you lift the phone up towards your face the screen comes on and shows you what is going on.

If you slide to the left you'll see your widgets from the Notification Center and if you slide to the right you'll access the camera.

3D Touch notifications on the lock screen to get more options. You can reply or view with a 3D Touch.
