Apple Smart Case for iPad

With the iPad 4 announcement, there are a new style of cases that Apple now offers called the Smart Case. The Smart Case is very similar to the Smart Cover but it differs in some areas.

With the Smart Case the iPad is now protected on both sides. This is a nice upgrade due to the tendency of the aluminum backing to scratch with the Smart Cover. The Smart Case still offers the ability to wake and sleep the iPad by opening and closing the front flap.
