iPhone 6s Release: 10 Things Buyers Can Count On
iPhone 6s Launch Date | |||||||||||
You should not count on an iPhone 6s or iPhone 6s Plus launch at WWDC 2015 in June. Apple used to use WWDC to announce iPhones but it now uses the developer conference to tout changes to its OS X software and iOS software. WWDC 2015 is expected to feature iOS 8.4, iOS 9, OS X 10.11, and a new Apple TV. Just not an iPhone. Instead, you should count on an iPhone 6s launch date later in the year after Apple and its testers have been able to spend some time with the iOS 9 beta. The iOS 9 beta is expected to arrive shortly after the company's keynote address on June 8th. Rumors have hinted at an early iPhone 6s launch though we're still expecting Apple to take the stage in September. August is certainly possible but if we were planning to buy one of these phones (and we are), we'd expect September. | |||||||||||
