Samsung Galaxy Note 2 Launching on Verizon?
We’ve already heard that the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 could be on its way to AT&T, T-Mobile and Sprint and now evidence has surfaced suggesting the Galaxy Note 2 could be headed to Verizon’s network.
Brief Mobile has unearthed a screenshot that seems to depict a device with the model number SCH-I605 which appears to be a handset running Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean. The report backs up the screenshot with a listing from a handset detection archive and a couple of Flickr pages where photos were uploaded using this smartphone.
So, it appears that the SCH-I605 is real, it’s just unclear as this point if it truly is the Verizon Galaxy Note 2.

What’s interesting is that Verizon has already released the 5-inch LG Inspiration which comes with a stylus and it also rumored to be releasing a 5-inch HTC smartphone that may or may not come with a stylus as well. Many wondered whether Verizon would release another phablet device into this crowed lineup but it appears that it may.
It appears that Verizon’s Galaxy S II will feature a quad-core processor and 4G LTE data speeds, a combination that has not yet arrived in the United States and possibly one of the reasons why the Galaxy Note 2 doesn’t have an official release date yet.

The original Galaxy Note was released on AT&T and T-Mobile only with Sprint and Verizon watching on the sidelines. However, it looks like the success that AT&T had with the device has convinced several other carriers to join the party.
AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile and according to this report, U.S. Cellular will get the Galaxy Note 2 along with Verizon. All five of those carriers also carry Samsung’s flagship smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy S III.
Thus far, Samsung has not confirmed the device for any U.S. carriers and it has not yet given it a release date. The company says that it will be released later this year.
Other regions like Europe, the Middle East, and Asia will see the device launch in October.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 is set to replace the original Galaxy Note phablet when it arrives in October. It features a 5.5-inch HD display, quad-core processor, new S-Pen stylus, and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean amongst other features.

Im going nuts – waiting for Verizon to release something – im working with a Samsung Charge that is shutting down and locking up constantly, I refuse to just settle for a Razr or the S3, I am waiting for either the HTC DLX or the Samsung Note 2 – but my patience is running out… CMONNN ALREADDDYYYYYY

well, i have to admit, as much as i would like this phone, i have been using the Galaxy Nexus (Verizon) for more than a year, and it is absolutely terrific in every way. Just got JB the other day. Another nice thing is that there is no blur on it. A native Google phone.

Why would he be “dumb” to consider the S3 a ‘settlement’ device while waiting on the HTC DLX, which IF all the leaked specs and benchmarks are accurate, is MUCH more superior than the S3?

Breakfast, we all know the S3 is best phone out right now. But, I’m also waiting for the Note 2 and skipping the S3 because the Note 2 is just a different monster of it’s own. The Note 2 beats the S3 is everything except portability–if I get desperate enough and use my next upgrade to get the S3, I would consider it settling for a S3 (since I know the Note 2 is better.)

Never said the S3 was garbage, I know it’s a great phone but the note 2 can’t compare. I may be dumb but I’m not stupid lol

Don’t think it has an SD card slot. And it is 16 g of storage. Without a card slot , I sure hope the phones will carry 32G and 64 G Also nothing has been said that if it is NFC compatible. Without the sd card slot , no nfc compatibility , and no option for a phone that has 32G , I would not buy this phone. I don’t care how much the ppi pixel density is. That does not make up for the SD card slot , and NFC compatibility feature.
