Answer Calls and Texts on Your iPad Pro

You can answer phone calls on your 9.7-inch iPad Pro and you can also send and read text messages as long as you also have an iPhone. This includes regular phone calls and regular text messages.

Go to Settings -> FaceTime ->Calls from iPhone -> On and then select the numbers and emails that you want to ring your iPad.

Then tap on Messages and Turn on iMessage. Then when the page refreshes go to Send & Receive and set up the phone numbers and addresses you want routed to your iPad.
