Force Touch Technology Likely

It's becoming increasingly likely that the iPhone 6s will come with at least one big improvement to its display. It's not a resolution boost but it's Apple's new Force Touch technology that made its debut on the new MacBook and the Apple Watch earlier this year.

For those that aren't familiar with Force Touch, it's technology that's able detect the difference between a tap and a hard press. This opens up new actions that wouldn't be possible without the inclusion of the display technology.

As we've noted, this could allow iPhone 6s users to push on the display harder to get access to a secondary menu item or action, add to in game controls or simplify access to some app options. iOS 9 reportedly supports Force Touch and this could be one of the iPhone 6s' unique features.

Now would be a great time to take a look at the new MacBook or the Apple Watch.
