Don't Rush Into iOS 8.4.1

Apple doesn't force you to install its iOS updates. It leaves the decision up to you. And while the iOS 8.4.1 update probably won't be a big one, it could still have a big impact on performance and that means that you'll want to take your time. 

If you're having a good performance on iOS 8.4 or below, you might not want to update to iOS 8.4.1 immediately. Or, if you're jailbroken on iOS 8.4, you'll want to wait for the smoke to settle before making your move. Jailbreak developers typically make their announcements after the release of an iOS update, not before.

If this was a huge feature-rich update, we'd understand the rush. But iOS 8.4.1 doesn't look like much more than a maintinance update ahead of iOS 9 so you'd be wise to take it slow.

If you wait a few hours or a few days, you could prevent some headaches. You might even be better off waiting for the iOS 9 update to arrive.
