Bethesda says that Nuka World is the last piece of Fallout 4 DLC it has planned for PS4, Xbox One and Windows.

The developer says that while "Nuka-World will be the final add-on for Fallout 4, things are just getting started with Mods for the game."

The company's Pete Hines has also repeatedly told gamers that Nuka World is the last DLC the developer's got planned for Fallout 4. That seems to slam the door shut on more official Fallout 4 DLC in 2016 and beyond.

In an interview with IGN, Hines noted that whether or not they do anymore DLC is not up to him, it's up to the team.

He went on to say that they "thought the last time that we were done, and this time we very well may be done" but "for right now, these are the last three we will be doing, unless the team decides otherwise."

That's music to our ears but the company continues to tell gamers that Nuka World will be the last piece of DLC released for Fallout 4. We aren't expecting anything new at this point given Hines' most recent responses and what we're seeing from the official Fallout account

Fortunately, there are tons of excellent Fallout 4 mods out there for PC and console to hold you over until the next DLC or the next Bethesda game.

It's still not clear when Playstation 4 Fallout 4 mods will emerge. Bethesda says the process is still under evaluation so they could emerge at any point, with or without a beta.
