If you're planning to use your iPhone 5 for your job or a school project, you're going to want to do a couple of things before installing the iOS 8.4 update. Do not install this update if you have yet to check in with IT (if you have one) or look over reviews for apps crucial to your work flow.

Some iPhone 5 users have complained about app problems and you'll want to make sure that your apps are cooperating with iOS 8.4 before making the move.

You'll also want to avoid iOS 8.4 if you're traveling and you might also consider skipping it if you're having an solid experience on iOS 8.3 or below and you don't care about its security updates, fixes or Apple Music. There's always the potential for problems and if you don't need these features, don't force it.

Don’t do it, it wiped my phone completely, to the point that I can’t seem to get it back, iTunes can’t find it! Not happy

iPhone 5 starting freezing, not saving call history. Apps not working correctly.
