Since the new Nexus 7 fits the budget tablet market, even though we don't see it as a budget tablet, getting a case for $80 or higher might feel like an extravagance that some can't afford. That's where the Poetic SlimLine case comes in. This incredibly light and slim folio style case fits the Nexus 7 perfectly, wakes and sleeps the screen by opening and closing the cover and looks nice in a number of colorful options. We reviewed one in red and one in black and love the case. Of all of the cases we've tried so far, this is the one we continue to use.

Nice selection! Another option is Treegloo (https://treegloo.com), it’s like a work of art. I got the Walnut frame and it looks really modern with bright colors (I was inspired by the MotoX). It gets so many compliments.

I have the Portenzo Bookcase. It’s made in Missouri with a Maple frame and is beautiful. Will never buy from anybody else.

It’s plywood, not maple….only the top 0.5mm is maple.
You can buy a piece bigger than a door for €20 or ~$25USD.

“While the maple frame does have a unique characteristic to it, I believe it has more to do with the LAYERED design of the wood than anything else. The layered/pressed (similar to plywood) design of the maple frame creates a stronger and more stable product while somewhat resembling the pages of an actual book.”
