Live Tiles were created to let users get alerts with just a tap of the Windows key on their keyboard. Now Microsoft is bringing that convenience to users that don’t have touch or don’t like Live Tiles. App icons in the Taskbar now surface small numbers with their notification count. It’s very similar to what Apple already does for apps on its popular iPhone. | ||||||||||||||||||
