Digifriends MID Makes Appearance At Touch and Tablet Community Meetup

The Tablet PC MVPs hosted the Touch and Tablet Community Meetup at CntrStg this afternoon and representatives from Digifriends paid a visit to the festivities. They didn’t come alone, however, and showed off the Digifriends MID that Jenn from Pocketables.net reported seeing at the opening of CES 2009. The device is truly impressive with a working model demonstrated for attendees and online viewers of the event. The connectable peripherals are still non-functional, but from what they had to offer and a promise of an August release of the device under the Digifriends name, the MID platform might not be completely dead yet.
