Apple, AT&T Websites Down While Verizon, Sprint Ready to Take Your Credit Cards

As iPhone 4S pre-orders are now kicking in–it’s after midnight Pacific Time on October 7–Apple’s website is still down and AT&T’s website is completely down now. However, Verizon and Sprint are now live for pre-order and both CDMA carriers are ready to take your credit card information.

Apple is probably experiencing the most traffic as customers may want to try to go with Apple as their first option to purchase.

If you’re looking to buy an iPhone 4S, be prepared for heavy traffic throughout the day and be patient and willing to hit the refresh button on your browser.
