After multiple leaks and speculations, T-Mobile USA has finally announced two 4G HSPA+ tablets for its mobile network, the T-Mobile Springboard made by Huawei and the Galaxy Tab 10.1 made by Samsung. Though the U.S. carrier announced both tablets, T-Mobile has still not announced specific pricing nor availability information except to say that both tablets will be available in time for the holiday season.

The T-Mobile Springboard is a 7-inch slate with a dual-core 1.2 GHz processor and a high resolution screen. The display was leaked as a 1280 X 800 pixels screen, which is more traditionally found on 10-inch slates, though T-Mobile did not give specs for the resolution in its press release.

The Springboard has a 5-megapixel rear camera that’s capable of 720p HD video recording and a front-facing camera.

The Galaxy Tab 10.1 is similar to Verizon’s Galaxy Tab 10.1 with 4G LTE, but T-Mobile’s version eschews the LTE radio for the carrier’s 4G HSPA+ radio. According to T-Mobile, the following content will be pre-loaded on the Galaxy Tab 10.1: T-Mobile TV, Qello®, Samsung Media Hub, Asphalt 6: Adrenaline HD demo, SIM City Deluxe demo, Blio® eReader and Zinio®.
