Motorola Atrix HD launches on AT&T 4G LTE for $99 (Video)

The Motorola Atrix HD brings the Kevlar backed looks of the Droid RAZR line to AT&T’s 4G LTE network at a bargain $99 price on July 15th.

Motorola packs a lot into the 8.4mm thick Atrix HD frame, including a 1.5GHz dual core processor, 1GB RAM and 8GB of internal memory with a Micro SD card slot.

The Atrix HD has a 4.5-inch ColorBoost display with a 720 x 1280 resolution display and respectable 330 pixels per inch. The high pixel density should deliver a sharper, crisper visual experience.

The Motorola Atrix HD hits AT&T for $99.

Like the Droid RAZR line, the Atrix HD sports a DuPont Kevlar back with a coating to protect the insides from water. Rounding out the protection is a Gorilla Glass display to stand up to scratches.

The Atrix HD packs an 8MP shooter on the rear, which Motorola claims offers “zero shutter lag” and the ability to record 1080P HD at 30 frames per second. The front facing camera offers 720P HD for better looking video chats.

Motorola doesn’t mention it in the press release, but we expect the Atrix HD will pack in the newest Webtop OS to connect to the Motorola Lapdock 500.

Like the latest Motorola smartphones the Atrix HD comes with Motorola SmartActions, an app that allows users to trigger events based on location and other triggers. SmartActions allows users to tweak their phone experience to save battery life and control the Atrix HD.
