Bad Piggies Now Available on Android, iPhone & iPad

Bad Piggies, Rovio’s Angry Birds spinoff is now available on iOS and Android.

The new game follows the pigs from Angry Birds as they try to get the eggs their king desperately wants to eat.

To get those eggs the Bad Piggies need to build vehicles to reach the goal of each level. To build those vehicles gamers use some familiar items from the Angry Birds series like the wood boxes and crates of dynamite, and some new items like fans and wings.

Each level has specific goals the player must meet to get three stars. All levels require the player to reach the goal, but some might have time limits or crates to grab. Some levels also have objectives such as not using a specific item to reach the goal.

In the few minutes we spent with the first puzzles a few of them required multiple play-throughs to get three stars. Thankfully players don’t need to meet every goal in the same run. Some of the first levels have multiple ways to reach the goal of the level, and each path helps satisfy a different objective.

Bad Piggies is something of a mix between Angry Birds and Rovio’s latest Amazing Alex. From our few minutes with the game, it seems like another great game from Rovio. It’s not as accessible as Angry Birds, but so far it’s a fun game for anyone who likes physics puzzles or building virtual machines.
