iPhone 6 Parts Leak May be Stunt for iPhone 6 Concept

Published

on

Interest in the iPhone 6 is climbing as a new part that is allegedly a casing of an iPhone 6 appears in a video on YouTube today.

The short video shows an alleged iPhone 6 part that the poster claims was, “filmed at the Apple Factory.”

The iPhone 6 is rumored to arrive in two models each with a larger screen. The smaller iPhone 6 will reportedly come with a screen between 4.5 and 4.8 inches in size while a larger iPhone 6 will use a 5+ inch screen, possibly a 5.5-inch screen.

If true this would be the second time Apple increased the size of the iPhone screen after a 0.5-inch screen size increase with the iPhone 5 which only brought a small increase in resolution.

In this alleged iPhone 6 part leak video a casing that looks similar to iPhone internals is shown on-screen for about a minute with close-ups of certain sections and an extreme close up of another part that is not attached to what the poster calls the iPhone 6 part.

The video below shows the alleged iPhone 6 part in a 52 second clip.

This alleged iPhone 6 part leak is questionable because it is “Sponsored” by the channel and by Mr. Voolp. The channel traditionally posts computer generated concepts for the iPhone 6 and other devices. It is possible that the concept is a computer generated video or a video shot to spur interest in the concepts that the site publishes on a daily basis.

Adding to the questionable nature of the leak is the mention of MrVoolp who runs his own YouTube channel with spy videos of upcoming cars, various Apple announcements and of an iWatch rendering labeled, ” Apple iwatch review HD”, but that’s not all. MrVoolp also posted an iPhone 6 first look video four days ago which is a iPhone 6 concept with a larger screen, shown below.

The channel also includes another version of the iPhone 6 parts video with the same claim that it was filmed a the Apple Factory.

There is a slim chance that this is a real part for an upcoming iPhone 6 with a larger screen. The Wall Street Journal reports that the smaller iPhone 6 with a 4.5-inch display is almost ready for mass production which would give some hope to the start of leaked parts, but there are too many questions surrounding this alleged iPhone 6 part to get excited.

The first believable iPhone 6 parts leaks will very likely come from @evleaks or @sonnydickson as we get closer to an iPhone 6 release. Both of these individuals bring ties to suppliers and industry insiders and more importantly a proven track record. We could also see parts leak directly to 9to5Mac, Apple Insider or Mac Rumors or right to Gotta Be Mobile as we saw in 2012 if the leak bypasses these iconic Apple leakers.

The Wall Street Journal’s latest report is correct, Apple is planning to launch two iPhones with a larger screen this year. According to the report, one bigger iPhone will have a 4.5-inch display, while the other will have a screen “bigger than 5 inches”.

It’s a chassis and vibrating motor from an iPhone 4. Nothing new, shocked that this actually fooled you.

Lol. From someone who gets paid to fix phones specifically but not limited to iPhones this looks so much like an iPhone 4/4S chassis which it is.
