5 Best Android Smartphones [May, 2014]

Published

on

Those looking for a new Android smartphone in the month of May will not only have to contend with the latest smartphone rumors regarding the LG G3 and Samsung Galaxy Note 4 but they’ll also have to deal with a market that is saturated with high-end devices including the Galaxy S5 and HTC One M8. We want to help make the search a little bit easier and here, we take a look at the devices we think are the Android smartphones for the month of May.

After a slow start to the year, April started off with a huge bang. On April 11th, Samsung released the Galaxy S5 into the wild and unlike its predecessors, it went on sale immediately at the five biggest carriers in the United States, a list that includes AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, U.S. Cellular, and Verizon.

The Samsung Galaxy S5 replaces the Galaxy S4 and it joins a loaded roster of Android smartphones that includes devices like the HTC One M8, Galaxy Note 3 and more. And while the arrival of the Galaxy S5 is a good thing, its presence presents some problems for those that aren’t in tune with the world of smartphones.

Picking and choosing a new smartphone is not an easy process. Android smartphones have flooded the market and it can be extremely difficult to wade through all of the options.

With that in mind, we want to help narrow things down for those that may not know what to look for. Here, in an effort to help those who might need some help this month, we breakdown the devices we think are the five best Android smartphones for the month of May, 2014.

Our list may differ from yours but these are the devices that Gotta Be Mobile editors have selected for recognition this month. We feel like the devices listed here deliver the best, all-around package at the moment.
