Those in the market for a new AT&T smartphone in June are going to encounter tons of choice. And while that’s a good thing, it can also make coming to a final decision difficult. We want to help narrow things down a bit for consumers and here, we take a look at the devices we think are the five best AT&T smartphones for June, 2014.

As we move deeper into the year, we’re finally starting to see manufacturers and carriers break out of their shells. The beginning of the year was slow, in terms of new releases, but as we’ve moved deeper into 2014, we’ve started to see carriers outfit their smartphone lineups with a number of big name devices.

AT&T is one of those carriers. The beginning of the year didn’t offer too much but as we’ve progressed, Ma Bell’s lineup has become more and more impressive. This is both a gift and a curse. It’s a gift because it means that consumers probably won’t be walking out with a horrible device and it’s a curse because coming to that final decision is going to be extremely difficult for some people.

It’s nice to have a lot of choices when out looking for a brand new smartphone, but the sheer amount of options can be overwhelming for many consumers, especially those that don’t keep tabs on the smartphone world.

With that in mind, we want to help narrow things down for those that may not know what to look for. Here, we breakdown the devices we think are the five best AT&T smartphones for the month of June, 2014.

Our list may differ from yours but these are the devices that Gotta Be Mobile editors have selected for recognition this month. We feel like the devices listed here deliver the best, all-around package at the moment.

With a Nexus 6 release reportedly dead in the water for 2014, the Nexus 5 is going to be sticking around for awhile. And fortunately, that's not a bad thing. This is one of the premier smartphones not just on AT&T but on the market as a whole.

The company's current Nexus flagship delivers a fantastic design along with a high-resolution full HD display, quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor, 8MP camera with Optical Image Stabilization, Android 4.4 KitKat, and an extremely cheap price tag. It also gets updates directly from Google, a perk that doesn't come with many of the top Android smartphones on the market.

Unlike the Nexus 4, the Nexus 5 runs on AT&T's 4G LTE network making it a device worth considering the in the month of June.
