Some of you may want to wait until you can hold the iPhone 6 and the iPhone 6 Plus in your hand and try out the new reach option to help make the iPhone 6 easier to use with one hand.

Before you wake up for the iPhone 6 pre-order or stand in line on the iPhone 6 release date you need to see how the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus compare; the differences are bigger than bigger.

The iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus are not the same size, in fact the iPhone 6 Plus is much larger than the iPhone 6 thanks to large bezels and a bigger screen. The iPhone 6 Plus is also slightly thicker than the iPhone 6. Here’s a look at the iPhone 6 vs iPhone 6 Plus size and dimensions.

The video below highlights the iPhone 6 Reachability feature in action.

The iPhone 6 offers a 4.7-inch display with a 13334 x 750 resolution. This is slightly higher than the 720P found on some Android phones but lower than flagships like the Galaxy S5 which use a 1920 x 1080 resolution. The iPhone 6 display delivers 326 pixels per inch (ppi).

The iPhone 6 Plus includes a 5.5-inch display with a 1920 x 1080 resolution like many Android phones and your HDTV. This is still lower than the LG G3 or Galaxy Note 4 display resolution, but a nice upgrade from the iPhone 6’s resolution. The iPhone 6 Plus offers 401 ppi.

Apple includes Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) on the iPhone 6 Plus. This will help you take a better looking photo in low light or with shaky hands. Apple describes how it works;

“with the A8 chip, gyroscope, and M8 motion coprocessor to measure motion data and provide precise lens movement to compensate for hand shake in lower light”

You can see what the iPhone 6 Plus OIS sample photo looks like below. The same photo on an iPhone 6 will probably not look this good.
