Nexus 9 LTE and Official Cases Finally Released

This morning the Nexus 9 tablet with 4G LTE was finally released on T-Mobile, but that isn’t the only good news for prospective buyers of Google’s new tablet. Today the Nexus 9 LTE is available from multiple outlets, and new cases and accessories have been released by HTC.

Back in October Google announced the Nexus 6, Nexus 9, and Nexus Player all with Android 5.0 Lollipop, and since then users have patiently been waiting to get their hands on all of the above. The Nexus 6 and Nexus 9 are available now in some regions, and now those who want a 4G LTE Nexus 9, it’s finally available.

Google’s brand new Nexus 9 tablet has been available for just over a month since being released in early November, and until today we had no details regarding when a Nexus 9 LTE would finally arrive. This morning T-Mobile started offering the 4G LTE Nexus 9, and now it’s also available on the Google Play Store. Read on for more details.

The Nexus 9 tablet comes equipped with an 8.9-inch Quad-HD display, dual stereo front facing speakers for excellent sound while watching YouTube or Netflix, a powerful NVIDIA processor for HD gaming, and is an overall excellent tablet. However, some may want 4G LTE connectivity built-in, so that’s what Google’s released today.

You can get the Nexus 9 with 32GB of storage and 4G LTE in both black or white for $599 directly from the Google Play Store, or the same $599 asking price is also listed on T-Mobile.com. One difference being T-Mobile will allow monthly payments, while Google will not.

There’s no news regarding the limited edition Sand (goldish) color option of the Nexus 9 for now, but it’s still listed on the Google Play Store. It’s worth noting the Nexus 9 LTE on the Play Store isn’t expected to ship until December 19th (at the time of writing) and ship times may slip as more are purchased and stock begins to wind down. Hopefully it arrives in time for Christmas for many holiday shoppers.

At the same time, this morning some official cases and accessories were released for the popular new Nexus 9 too. While Google’s had the flip cover origami cases on the Play Store for over a month, they’ve been out of stock and yet to be released for buyers. However, this morning HTC started offering the Grey and Indigo green option. This is the only color HTC has for sale, and the three others listed by Amazon and Google have yet to be released.

A few weeks back Google also released the keyboard folio case for the Nexus 9, but we’ve yet to see any other accessories arrive for the company’s latest tablet.
