So how much will this impressive 2015 Nexus 5 from LG cost? If rumors and reports are accurate the 16 (or 32GB) version will retail for $399, and a variant with more storage will be $449. This is very similar to the 2013 Nexus 5, and makes perfect sense.
Google's Nexus smartphones have always been budget-devices that try to deliver a high-end premium experience without a huge price tag. The original Nexus 5 was $399, and multiple leaks and sources are claiming Google and LG want to deliver the same in 2015. Last year the Nexus 6 changed things up and cost $649, which was way too much for many, not to mention too big, but now a year later can be purchased from Google's store for just $499. We're hoping the Nexus 5 and Nexus 6 will both come with 32 and 64GB of storage, not the rumored 16/32GB combination, as 16GB is simply not enough space. It's also worth mentioning the 5.7-inch Nexus 6 for 2015 will reportedly be $100 more. So potentially $499 and $549, but we'll have to wait and see.
