4 Reasons Not to Install iOS 9.1 & 5 Reasons To Do It
The iOS 9.1 update for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch has been available for several weeks now. And while there are some reasons why you might want to install it today, there are also some reasons why you might not want to install iOS 9.1 right now.
On September 11th, Apple confirmed the iOS 9.1 update for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. The iOS 9.1 beta actually arrived before the release of iOS 9.0, the update that delivered iOS 9.0 and its new features to iPhone and iPad users around the world.
In the weeks that followed, Apple released four more iOS 9.1 beta updates. And thanks to these updates, we learned a lot about the iOS 9.1 update and its performance ahead of its public release date.
In October, Apple took the iOS 9.1 update out of beta and released it for iOS 9 users around the world. There’s a lot to like about the iOS 9.1 update and it’s a tempting install for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch users.
While there are reasons to consider installing the iOS 9.1 update right away, there are also some reasons why you might want to hold off for the time being. Some are obvious, others not so much.
Keep these in mind as we push away from the iOS 9.1 release date. Remember, Apple doesn’t force you to install its iOS updates so don’t feel any pressure to install iOS 9 or iOS 9.1 right now. Take your time, examine the pros and cons, and make an educated decision.
