iOS 9.2 Update: 5 Things to Look Forward To
iOS 9.1 is less than a week old butĀ Apple’s already started working on its next milestone upgrade for iOS 9. With an iOS 9.2 on the way, we want to take a look at a few things iPhone and iPad users can look forward to.
Last year, with iOS 8, Apple did things a little bit differently. Instead of waiting until the midway point to release a solitary milestone upgrade (iOS 7.1 is the most recent example), the company rolled out a series of iOS 8 upgrades that deliveredĀ new features, enhancements and fixes.
Update: Here’s more on the iOS 9.2 updateĀ for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.
First, it was iOS 8.1 and Apple Pay. Next, it was iOS 8.2 which delivered support for the company’s new Apple Watch. A few weeks later, Apple rolled out iOS 8.3 and new emojis. Then, in late June, the company pushed out iOS 8.4 and Apple Music.
While nothing is set in stone the release of iOS 9.1 in October (iOS 8.2 was also released in October)Ā is a sign that we’ll see more of the same from Apple and its new iOS 9 operating system.Ā The emergence of an iOS 9.2 update is another.
Last week, Apple rolled out iOS 9.1, an update that brings new features and fixes to iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. AppleĀ today confirmed an iOS 9.2 release but it didn’t confirm any release date details for iOS 9 users.
iOS 9.2 is in development and it figures to be the next major upgrade for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. We could see Apple releaseĀ more iOS 9.1 updates but for now, iOS 9.2 is the unreleased update that should be on your radar.
Details are extremely scarce right now but we want to take a look at a few things we think you can expect from iOS 9.2 and its release. These early iOS 9.2 predictions should help you set your expectations accordingly.
