The iOS 9.2 release date could come at any time and you’ll want to be prepared for it. Today we want to walk you through some early tips that will help you prepare for Apple’s next milestone release for its iOS 9 operating system.

The iOS 9.1 update is still the most current version of iOS 9 available to the general public but that it could change in an instant. Apple’s cooking up a brand new iOS 9 update that’s set to deliver new fixes and new features to iPhone, iPad and iPod touch users.

It’s not a matter of if, it’s a matter of when. The iOS 9.2 update is confirmed thanks to a beta but Apple hasn’t outlined an iOS 9.2 release date for those outside of those lucky enough to be housed inside the confines of its Cupertino campus.

The iOS 9.2 release date is unknown but the update itself is well-known thanks to the beta process. We know that it’ll be bringing bug fixes for lingering iOS 9 problems and we know that it will bring new features including Arabic support for Siri.

It’s not coming with hundreds of new emojis but it’s still an important update. It’s also an update that you should start prepping for.

We don’t recommend going all out this early but there are some steps to take to make the iOS 9.2 release date a little easier on your and your device.

We may not get an early iOS 9.2 release date announcement so think about doing these things sooner rather than later.

This will help you familiarize with these features ahead of time but also help you decide if the iOS 9.2 update is worth installing on day one.

Developers and testers have been outlining all of the changes coming with the iOS 9.2 update and they include AT&T NumberSync, improvements to Safari extensions, some small changes to the Reduce Motion setting, improvements to Siri, and a slew of bug fixes including remedies for Apple Watch problems.

They've found all of this in the first three betas and there is a chance we could see more betas and more iOS 9.2 features emerge before everything is said and done.

For now, you'd be wise to get familiar with these changes so that you're comfortable with iOS 9.2 and its change log when Apple finally gets around to releasing it to the public.
