Despite adding a ton of features, the ZAGG Slim Book Pro doesn’t add much weight or thickness. When it is all together, the iPad is completely protected and you can still use the camera and access ports and buttons.

Most of the time I use the Slim Book Pro keyboard while on the go. The iPad Pro and the ZAGG keyboard case combined are more portable than a 13-inch MacBook Pro and the battery lasts longer.

When on the go the keyboard keeps the iPad Pro screen safe and then when it is time to type I can place the screen at the perfect angle and get to work. The new design props the keyboard up slightly for a more ergonomic feel. I prefer to use this on a table, but the wide kickstand allows me to use this on my lap for shorter bursts of productivity.

Since you can disconnect the two, you can set the iPad on a surface using the kickstand and keep the keyboard on your lap and type. The keyboard even includes a small lip that makes typing more ergonomic,

The keys are well spaced, offer very good feedback allowing for longer, more productive typing sessions. This is the best iPad keyboard I’ve ever used.

When I get home I don’t need the keyboard for watching movies and playing a few games. Since it is attached with magnets I just pull it off and set it on my desk and walk to the other room with the iPad Pro 9.7.

The iPad is still protected thanks to the case that surrounds it and I have my Apple Pencil right where I need it thanks to the small loop on the back.

I like that there is a slightly larger lip on the left side of the iPad that allows me to grip without coming close to the edge of the display.

The kickstand allows me to watch videos in bed without the need for a separate stand and it also allows me to set the iPad on my desk and use it as a second monitor with Duet Display or to keep up on a game while I am working.

While I most frequently use the stand to watch movies it also works to prop the iPad Pro at a nice angle for drawing, not taking and doodling with the Apple Pencil on a desk or on your lap.
