$329 Xbox One & Skylanders Among Toys R Us Black Friday 2014 Deals

Forget toys, retailer Toys R Us is slashing 40% off the price of new Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS4 and Wii U games & even discounting the Xbox One more than it already has been. That’s if scans of a leaked Black Friday 2014 ad are indicative of the store’s Black Friday 2014 deals.

Scans of an ad containing all of Toys R Us’ Black Friday 2014 deals surfaced on TheBlackFriday, a website dedicated to finding and sharing news of decent Black Friday 2014 deals for everyone to see and read about. In total, the leaked add is a whopping 28 pages from start to finish. Buried amongst the deals on toys, board games and sports equipment are Black Friday 2014 deals especially for gamers.

Among the pages of door busters is an entire section dedicated to discounted Xbox one, Xbox 360, Wii U, PS3 and PS4 games. On Thanksgiving Day beginning at 5pm Toys RUs will have a Buy One Get One 40% off sale for anything game normally priced between $19.99 and $59.99. That means Black Friday 2014 shoppers who already planned on picking up big name games this year can also purchase games like Just Dance 2014, Assassin’s Creed Rogue, Destiny, Super Smash Bros Wii U, WWE 2K15 and Shadow of Modor almost half off.

In recent years games with a physical component have practically taken over the gaming space. These games, like Skylanders, have something tangible, a figurine that players get to digitize and add to their team. The Toys R US Black Friday 2014 add includes huge discounts for those on the search for cheap Skylanders stuff. At 5pm on Thursday only the Skylanders SWAP Force Carry & Display Case for $14.99. That’s half off the normal price. Every Skylanders fan needs actual Skylander action figures to go along with the game. Toys R Us is making that affordable too. Figures in the Spyro pack are 4 for $10. When Black Friday 2014 deal lookers pick up a single Skylanders Giants & Swap Force action figure they’ll get 70% off anoter. Additionally, the Wii U Skylanders Swap Force Bundle will be just $199.99. That’s $100 off its normal price. The Nintendo 3DS Xl Mario Party bundle is $20 off at $179.99.

Black Friday 2014 deals are just for those with new consoles though. There are still millions of users who have an Xbox 360, Nintendo DS or Xbox 360. The Toys R Us Black Friday 2014 deals include Buy One Get One for $2 deals on a ton of great games for last generation consoles. Lego Batman 2, Skyrim are among the games included in this deal. Pricing for those games runs from $14.99 to $19.99.

The best deal though is for Microsoft’s Xbox One console. Microsoft just slashed the prices on its console bundles and Toys R Us is delivering even more in savings. The Xbox One with Kinect 2 sensor will sell for $429 on Thanksgiving Day at 5pm. The Xbox One with free copy of Assassin’s Creed Unity will sell for $329. Three weeks ago an Xbox One with Kinect 2 sensor would have cost shoppers $499. The Xbox One Assassin’s Creed Unity Bundle is still $349.99 everywhere else.

All told, Black Friday 2014 shoppers at Toys R Us stand to save a pretty large amount on consoles and games, as long as they’re comfortable with interrupting Thanksgiving dinner and standing in line for hours to make it into their local store before stock on all of these things runs out. Unfortunately, none of the games deals are being offered on the Toys R Us website. Presumably, the retailer has a slate of deals set to roll out for web shoppers on Cyber Monday. That’s the first Monday after Thanksgiving when online retailers slash prices on things they carry for the holidays.
