If you're an avid Apple Music user, there's good reason to install the iOS 9.2 update on your phone or tablet. It comes with a number of improvements.
Apple Music has been out since the summertime and Apple continues to refine it with iOS updates. Good thing because Apple Music users continue to complain about bugs, issues with their library and other problems. The iOS 9.2 update probably won't fix everything but it will fix a lot. The update features numerous changes to Apple's music platform and some these changes should help to stabilize the Music app and its various features. Here's what's new: - You can now create a new playlist when adding a song to a playlist
- Your most recently changed playlist is now listed at the top when adding songs to playlists - Download albums or playlists from your iCloud Music Library by tapping the iCloud download button
- See which songs have been downloaded with the new download indicator next to each song in My Music and Playlist - See works, composers, and performers while browsing Classical music in the Apple Music catalog Apple News is one of our favorite iOS 9 features and it's one that many iPhone and iPad users use to gather news from their favorite sources. iOS 9.2 brings some improvements to the platform. When you open up Apple News with iOS 9.2 on board, you'll now get a Top Stories section in News. This section is going to gather your most important news of the day. It's a quick and easy way to stay on top of current events. For now, this feature is only available in the United States, United Kingdom and Australia. If you live in one of those countries, and you're an avid Apple News user, you'll want to think about giving iOS 9.2 a try in the near future. |
