If you want to play Ghost of Tsushima the second it's released for PS4, you'll want to pre-order a digital copy. 

We don't expect Sony and Sucker Punch to release a demo ahead of the game's release date which means your first chance to play the game will probably be on July 17th or July 16th if you live in a western time zone. 

If you purchase a digital copy of the game you should be able to pre-load it onto your platform of choice ahead of the game's release date. 

Pre-loading the game files ahead of time will allow you to jump right in when the game unlocks at 12AM Eastern on July 17th. 

If you buy a physical copy you won't get your delivery until the morning, afternoon, or night of July 17th. For some of you, that might not be ideal.
