Samsung Galaxy S4
The Samsung Galaxy S4 will be replaced in a few months, but like the iPhone 5s, until it is, it will remain one of the best smartphones on the market.
Samsung's flagship has managed to stay relevant thanks to fantastic high-end hardware, a declining price tag through third-party retailers and software that is ever evolving. In fact, the Samsung Galaxy S4 Android 4.4 KitKat upgrade has been confirmed and should be rolling out in the next couple of weeks.
When it does arrive, it will make the Galaxy S4 feel fresh and new. Fortunately, the Galaxy S4 should have some more life left in it after that, it turns one in April, and that means that it's a safe buy for consumers looking to snag it on-contract.
