5 Best Games Like Fortnite for Android

Radiation Island

Last but not least, the best "complete package" for this type of game is Radiation Island. It's as close as you're going to get to a Fortnite or PUBG alternative on Android. Well, minus the building mechanics.

It's not just a great battle royale game, it's a great game overall. That's because it has a pretty awesome single-player campaign mode first. That way you're comfortable with the weapons and controls before battling to the death with other players. So if you're not interested in putting in the time, skip this one.

That said, we recommend giving it a try. As expected, you get dropped on an old deserted "Radiation Island" and you'll have to craft and gather supplies to stay alive. They have food, shelters, guns, and you can even make your own guns, weapons, or shelter. You're not crafting a fort, but it's close. Either way, this game is loads of fun. You'll pay $2.99 but that gets you a regular game and a battle royale adventure in one.

Some honorable mentions go out to Garena FreeFire (actually the #1 downloaded battle royale game on Android) and the new Battlelands Royale cartoon game. It's not as serious, so you won't have those ragequit moments.

Stay tuned and we'll update this list with more games as they're released.

The games that you’ve mentioned, other than FortCraft, are nothing like Fortnite. Knives Out, Rules of Survival and PUBG:M doesn’t have the gameplay aspect of Fortnite. In Fortnite, you can build, and destroy objects in-game. This cannot be seen in the other games on this list. They may be similar when it comes to the game’s main objective, (excluding Radiation Island) which is to eliminate enemy players in order to win, but building forts and destroying enemy fortifications isn’t a feature on some of the mentioned games. The closest you can get to a Fortnite Mobile is FortCraft, though it is currently on closed beta as of now.

Does anything come close to Fortnite’s building mechanic? That’s what makes it special. These games are close and hit the Battle Royale angle.
