The Philips DS7880 is a wireless speaker dock that's also equipped with Bluetooth, so it's a traditional Bluetooth speaker in a way, but it comes with a Lightning dock that can charge your iPhone while it plays your music over a solid physical connection. Many owners praise the speaker dock for its good bass and the solid battery life that keeps going nearly through an entire work day for many folks. Ignore this guy’s recommendations. He has no clue what quality sound is supposed to be. Not surprisingly he rates Bose (that crap of a Co.) as the best Iphone dock. I got that pos for free with AMEX account and it is worthless, boomy piece of garbage.
