Longtime Xbox 360 fans will have heard of Bungie. If they haven’t, they’ll have played a Bungie game. For years the company was in charge of the Xbox’s Halo franchise, successfully delivering Halo, Halo 2, Halo 3, Halo: Reach and Halo 3 ODST. Now the company has moved on to other things. More specifically, it moved on to Destiny. Don’t let the new name fool you. Destiny is a Halo remix. Fortunately, that’s perfectly ok because the first-person shooting mechanics that Bungie has developed are top-notch. It also doesn’t hurt that Destiny takes from online role-playing games to let you create and customize a character that’s entirely unique to you. You’ll want to play this game. Luckily, it debuts September 9th, right as the summer is winding down. [ Pre-Order Destiny from the Microsoft Store for $59.99 ] | ||||||
