The new Windows Ink Worksapce area has a clunky name, but a simple mission. Microsoft wants users to find apps made for pen easily. In the event that they don’t have any, the company includes a few basic ones.

Sticky Notes lets you leave yourself handwritten reminders. They can interact with Cortana. Screen Sketch lets you doodle over whatever you’re looking at on your screen now. Sketchpad provides doodling and drawing tools – including a ruler.

Along with Ink Workspace, Microsoft has integrated Pen controls directly into the Settings app. There’s finally one place for pen and stylus options, just as there is with keyboards and computer mice.
