8 Things to Know About the Nexus 6 Android 6.0.1 Update
Potential Android 6.0.1 Problems
With every update the possibility or problems is real, but with such a small update we're not seeing anything that would suggest users not download the update. In fact, it fixes a few Nexus 6 problems so we'd highly recommend it. Android 6.0.1 fixes several bugs but it also brings some problems of its own. We're seeing a lot of Nexus 5 users complain of problems after the update, and a few of those have been echoed by Nexus 6 owners. That said, they are few and far-between, and not too much of a concern. The biggest issue seems to be broken MMS (picture messages) which was supposed to be fixed, HD Voice calling with Verizon or some of T-Mobile's calling features, and other small things. On AT&T I've experienced no issues in the past few hours since receiving Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, and we'll update once we have more time with it.
