Those in the market for a new AT&T smartphone in June are going to encounter tons of choice. And while that’s a good thing, it can also make coming to a final decision difficult. As we move deeper into the year, we’re finally starting to see manufacturers and carriers break out of their shells. The beginning of the year was slow, in terms of new releases, but as we’ve moved deeper into 2014, we’ve started to see carriers outfit their smartphone lineups with a number of big name devices.

AT&T is one of those carriers. The beginning of the year didn’t offer too much but as we’ve progressed, Ma Bell’s lineup has become more and more impressive. This is both a gift and a curse. It’s a gift because it means that consumers probably won’t be walking out with a horrible device and it’s a curse because coming to that final decision is going to be extremely difficult for some people.

It’s nice to have a lot of choices when out looking for a brand new smartphone, but the sheer amount of options can be overwhelming for many consumers, especially those that don’t keep tabs on the smartphone world.
