iPad iOS 9.1 Release: 10 Things That Need Attention
The iPad iOS 9.1 update will bring new emojis to Apple’s slates but we still don’t know when they will arrive. With the iOS 9.1 release date missing in action, we take a look at what you should be paying attention to in the buildup to the iPad iOS 9.1 update’s release.
Last month was a busy month for Apple and the iPad. The company debuted two new devices, the iPad Pro and iPad mini 4, and it also rolled out three new iOS 9 updates, four if you include the iOS 9.1 beta that we’re going to cover here.
In September, Apple pushed out iOS 9.0, iOS 9.0.1 and iOS 9.0.2. The first update, iOS 9.0, delivered new features and enhancements while the other two focused on fixing some of the initial iOS 9 problems plaguing iPad, iPhone and iPod touch users.
The iPad iOS 9.0.2 update is Apple’s current version of iOS 9 but it will get replaced at some point in the near future.
Apple’s working on an iPad iOS 9.1 update for release later this year. The update will be bringing new emojis to the iOS 9 keyboard and those have generated a ton of excitement around its release. Thing is, we still don’t know when that release will take place.
With Apple reportedly skipping an October media event, there’s a good chance the iOS 9.1 release date will come out of nowhere.
With that in mind, we want to take a look at a few things that need your attention in the buildup to the iOS 9.1 release. Keep these mind as we push deeper into October.
