iPhone 4s iOS 9.2 Update: 5 Things to Know Right Now
A week ago, Apple released the first version of the iPhone 4s iOS 9.2 update. Today, it released another. With that in mind, we want to take a look at a few things to know, right now, about the iPhone 4s iOS 9.2 update.
In October, Apple released the first milestone update for its iOS 9 operating system. The iOS 9.1 update went through a lengthy beta process before the company delivered it, and its new features, to devices like the iPhone 4s.
iOS 9.1Â delivered 150 new emojis, enhancements for stock applications, and a series of bug fixes for iOS 9 problems. It’s an important update for the iPhone 4s and one that many users have downloaded in the weeks since its release.
The update is still the most current version of iOS 9 but Apple’s already confirmed an update that could take its place one day down the road.
Last week, Apple confirmed iOS 9.2 with a release into its beta program for developers and the general public. It’s not clear if iOS 9.2 will be the update that replaces iOS 9.1 because we still don’t have an official iOS 9.2 release date.
We we do have though are two iOS 9.2 beta updates. Earlier today, Apple released iOS 9.2 beta 2 to developers and we assume that it will come to the public some point this week.
iOS 9.2 beta 2 has confirmed some new details and with that in mind, we want to take a look at the current state of the iPhone 4s iOS 9.2 update and its release. Keep this in mind as we push towards the official release for Apple’s aging former flagship.
