5 Things to Try in Call of Duty: Black Ops 3
After spending all weekend playing Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 we came up with a list of things that you need to try in the new Call of Duty game.
While the annual Call of Duty release is often all about the multiplayer experience, there is much more to this game and there are certain things we think you should try when you get Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 up and running.
While the basic multiplayer game is fun, this is a game with several modes and options for gamers to dive in. While you can start playing in a few minutes, there are some interesting customization options and hidden modes.
Here are the things you need to try in Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 to get your money’s worth and play though the extra areas of the game that aren’t immediately visible. You might even call them Black Ops 3 hidden features and secrets.
The Campaign, Seriously
Many Call of Duty players don’t bother playing the campaign, but Treyarch delivers one of the funnest campaign modes in a long time.

You should play the Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 campaign, seriously.
There is a progression tree for CyberCore abilities that you can upgrade as you play and you can customize your character. It’s also great to level up as you play and to level up weapons like in mulitplayer. You can even create custom classes to choose from as you play the missions. You can start a mission with a custom loadout or with a recommended loadout and then you can switch halfway through at supply points.
Spend some time playing the Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 single player and exploring the Safehouse to customize play.
Try Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 Freerun Mode
There is a new Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 gameplay mode that allows you to practice the new jumping, boost and wall run movement mechanics in a time trial setting. There are no enemies, but you will still need to shoot some.
One thing that we like about this is that it allows you to master the new movement options and work on firing while wallrunning.
Play Dead Ops Arcade 2
After you beat the first two single player missions you gain access to the safe house. Here you can access a computer and play Dead Ops Arcade 2. This is a top down arcade style game with zombies.
Check out the video above to see where to find the Dead Ops Arcade 2 game and what the gameplay looks like.
Customize a Gun
You can customize the look of guns and gun upgrades in the Gunsmith. This is a cool way to customize your player in the multiplayer an in the single player mode.
When you are working on a loadout you can press Y on Xbox One to customize. This is where you can choose paint options or camo. There are loads of ways you can create a custom looking gun.
Try Black Ops 3 Hardcore Mode
There are many ways you can play Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 multiplayer, and one of them that you should try is hardcore modes.
