Zagg Flex ARC: Wearable Earbuds & Bluetooth Speaker

Published

on

The Zagg Flex ARC wearable earbuds and speaker is a $99 headphone and Bluetooth speaker system that you wear round your neck. At first glance this is similar to other neck band headphones from LG, but Zagg includes a speaker option that lets you share music or take a call without using the headphones.

Zagg announced the new Flex ARC at CES 2016 in Las Vegas along with a new personal camera and portable power that can charge your Apple Watch and iPhone.

Billed as a wearable by Zagg, this combination wireless earbuds and Bluetooth speaker rests around your neck for all day use.

Users place the Zagg Flex ARC around their neck, with your shoulders and neck holding the weight of the battery that delivers eight hours of use on a single charge.

When you want to listen to music or make a call you simply pull the headphones out of the holders on the ends of the band. You can choose the length that you need for a call or a longer length for a workout session where you will jostle more.

When done, pull out on the buds slightly and they will retract into the Flex ARC for storage. This way you aren’t walking around with earbuds flailing about when you don’t need them.

There is also a built-in speaker in the Flex ARC that allows you to share music or take a call without pulling the earbuds out. While you may not want to use this in public, it is a very handy feature for use around your office or home. Shoppers will find the Zagg Flex ARC at Zagg and other retailers in the near future for $99.
