BumpTop Desktop Getting Closer?

Maybe all good things come to those who wait. I’ve been interested in the BumpTop Desktop ever since it came across my radar awhile ago. I see that you can now sign up for the closed Beta, which I’ve done, so here’s hoping. What intrigues me about this is the desktop metaphor which I think would work very well for Tablet PCs and touch devices. At least if you keep your virtual and real desktops as cluttered as I do. Here’s hoping this moves forward soon as I think once we see multi-touch in Windows 7 that BumpTop could become very, very interesting as a desktop metaphor.
