GBM Reader Ryan sent along this link to a very fascinating video of how one man’s vision of the future might unfold. Put together as a future commencment address for the class of 2020 at Arapahoe High School, the address looks at the last 13 years of what has happened in technology. While not necessarily mobile tech related, a number of the developments certainly would have an amazing impact and his vision builds off of much of what we know, write, and read about today. And if you follow the bigger picture issues of how technology affects society it is certainly an interesting vision for the future.
So when does Google buy Apple? Or Ford? When does your auto become a roving hot spot as a part of a moving mesh WiFi network? When will notebooks for school children be competely free or subsidized the way school lunches are currently?
In any regard, this is interesting viewing and speculation for the weekend. Thanks for sending this along Ryan.
