The Acer Iconia Tab A501 with AT&T’s 4G HSPA+ will go on sale on September 18th for $480 or $330 with a two-year contract. While the tablet is a 10-inch slate, it will not benefit from the LTE network access that’s being promised by AT&T’s flagship Jetstream tablet from HTC, though the Jetstream commands a much higher price both on- and off-contract.
AT&T says it will only offer the 16 GB version of the 4G tablet and the device will ship with Android 3.0 Honeycomb, though Android 3.1 will be available as an over the air update at a later time.
The tablet is identical to the Acer Iconia Tab A500 with WiFi.
