Amazon Launches Windowshop for Shopping on the iPad

Amazon is touting a major top to bottom rewrite of Amazon.com built especially for shopping on the iPad. The new App is called Windowshop. The idea is basically to bring you all the functionality of Amazon’s website but in an iPad App optimized for the touch experience. The organization approach appears to rely on a relatively broad list of categories and lists. It’s a free App.

The interface is fluid enough almost like giving you a window of a larger display that you can scroll through. It only comes up in landscape mode, though.
